2024-25 YOUTH CHEER

?Youth Eagles Cheer 2024? Hello Families!!! Welcome to the 2024 youth cheer season! I am excited for the season to begin and get to know each and every cheerleader. My mission is to teach these kids the fundamentals of cheer and positive sportsmanship. I strongly believe that practice makes progress not perfect. My name is Madilynn Porter and I am the new head coach for the youth cheerleaders. This will be my first year coaching. I have been a cheerleader myself for 11 years and recently just graduated from East Central this past May. I helped a lot last year by teaching the cheerleaders cheers, jumps, and fun dances and I realized that coaching was something I definitely wanted to do. Practices will be held two days a week, Mondays 3:10-4:45 and Wednesdays 2:35-3:45, the first day of practice will be September 9th. .Please have your cheerleader bring a water bottle, and tennis shoes. For games your child is asked to be here at 5:15. Uniform consists of a blue cheer shirt, black leggings, and tennis shoes. I will provide the shirts and bows. Students will practice new cheers and chants, jump technique, and stunts. For beginners and students with a cheer history.
