Safe Sitter
SAFE SITTER BABYSITTING TRAININGSPACE IS LIMITED TO 20Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises.The cost is $32. Classes designed for 11-14-year-olds Each class is limited to 20 students The curriculum includes infant/child CPR Please pack a lunch Graduation ceremony to follow. Parents are asked to attend! Check in is at 8:45 - if your Welia registration forms have not been completed, parents need to check in and fill out the paperwork.DATE: June 18th from 8:45-2:30 in the Community Board roomCOST: $32.00Instructor: Welia Health Registration Forms: There are two registration forms needed to be completed prior to the class, The Safe Sitter forms will be available outside of the Community Ed office and via email by request from ce@eastcentral.k12.mn.us

Prepare to be captivated by colorful characters, catchy tunes, and a heartwarming story that will transport you down to the big blue world. Join the exciting fun today - don't miss out on this underwater adventure! Finding Nemo Jr. Open to students 2nd grade - 12th grade, and community area students. Grades/Ages: 2nd Grade - 12th Grade (24/25 school year)Cost: $65 which includes a t-shirt (Each student will receive 2 free tickets to the show) $25 for TECH position (includes t-shirt)Important times and dates:Audition Times: May 27th from 3:00pm-6:00pm May 28th from 2:30pm-4:00pm May 29th Call Backs from 3:00pm-5:30pm Rehearsal Times: June 16, 17, 18, 20, 24, 25 and 26th from 12:30-4:30pm (No Rehearsal on June 19th to observe the holiday) June 23rd is Dress Rehearsal from 12:30-5:30 (Student pick up at 5:30) Callbacks Pick-up at Flagpole doors Showtime Performances: June 27th, performance is at 7pm. *All students are there at 4:30pm to get ready for the show.* June 28th performance is at 2pm *All students are there at 11am to get ready for the show.* Other Information: We will have a potluck dinner on Friday starting at 4:00pm, Saturday we will do a breakfast potluck starting at 10:30am. After the final show on Saturday, all cast and crew are required to stay and STRIKE the set. If you are interested in doing TECH for the summer play, please fill We will be looking for adult volunteers to help w/ costumes, & supervision- please email abenner@eastcentral.k12.mn.us with any interest.
