East Central Schools Community Education

Wednesdays: 3/11 & 3:18 - 2:30-3:30pm - $30 total. This 2 week class is designed for strong swimmers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. This program introduces participants to the fundamentals of lifeguarding in a fun, active, and confidence-building environment. This class is not a certification course, but it is a fantastic stepping stone for swimmers interested in future lifeguard training. Participants will build strength, stamina, responsibility, and real-world water safety skills — all while having fun and working as a team. Prerequisites: Swimmers 5th grade - 9th grade & are comfortable swimming multiple lengths of the pool and treading water independently.
