Youth Basketball-3rd-6th Grade
East Central Youth Basketball 3rd-6th Grade Girls Youth basketball will generally include two weekdays and Saturday practices (or Saturday games). Weekday practices could be in the evenings from 5:45-7:15 or after school from 3:15-4:45. We do work around the available gym space for practices and will be working with local leagues to get games scheduled so the final practice and game schedule can’t be released until the high school schedule is out. Practices will start mid November and the season runs through early February. We participate in the Hwy 23 League with games on Saturdays in Mora. The scheduled Saturday games dates in Mora are 12/7/24, 12/21/24, 1/25/25 & 2/1/25.We will use an activity app, Heja, to share schedules and messages. You can email Lizzy Sparks with questions: lsparks@eastcentral.k12.mn.us 3rd-6th Grade BoysYouth basketball will generally include 1-2 weekdays per week and a weekend practice or game. Refunds for jerseys cannot be given if your child decides not to play after the order has been placed) In lieu of a fundraiser we are asking if anyone would be willing to “adopt-a-ball” and donate extra money beyond the participation fee to go toward purchasing basketballs for their child’s team? A new, high-quality, basketball is about $50 - any amount would be appreciated!Reversible team mesh jerseys with a number are required. You may wear one from a previous year or to purchase one they are $35 (they can be worn for multiple years).**Jerseys are required to play**
