East Central Youth Basketball
Registration Form
Open to grades 3-6
Youth basketball will generally include 1-2 weekdays per week and a weekend practice or game. Most weekday practices will be in the evenings from 6:00-7:30 after the high schoolers are done as opposed to right after school but we are required to have some flexibility. We do work around the available gym space for practices. Practices will start the first week of November and the season runs through late January. We participate in the Great River Conference League with games on Saturdays in Mora. The scheduled Saturday game dates in Mora are 11/22, 12/20, 1/10 & 1/31
We will use an activity app, Heja, to share schedules and messages.

Reversible team mesh jerseys with a number are required. You may wear one from a previous year or to purchase one they are $30 (they can be worn for multiple years).

In lieu of a fundraiser we are asking if anyone would be willing to “adopt-a-ball” and donate extra money beyond the participation fee to go toward purchasing basketballs for their child’s team? A new, high-quality, basketball is about $50 - any amount would be appreciated!
I agree not to hold East Central Schools, its officers, coaches, and personnel financially, personally, or legally responsible for any injury or illness including COVID 19 suffered because of participating in basketball games, practice, or associated activities.

(All funds go to the cost of the leagues, referees, and equipment. Refunds for jerseys cannot be given if your child decides not to play after the order has been placed)
We are in need of coaches at all age groups. Each team will have up to two volunteer coaches. Background check required. If we can’t find volunteer coaches, we can’t have teams.
